Ampro upgrades and expands industry-leading EBX single board computer line-up
Three New LittleBoard™ single board computers Will Drive New Applications

San Jose, CA., September 26, 2000. Ampro Computers, the inventor and leading supplier of PC/104 and EBX form-factor single-board computers for the embedded market, today announced a major upgrade and expansion of its LittleBoard family of EBX-compatible single board computers. Covering a broad price/performance range, the three new LittleBoard single board computers will drive additional usage. The new entry-level LittleBoard 486e extends the life of a low cost 486-based solution by 5+ years as it replaces a maturing LittleBoard 486i. The cost-effective Pentium-based LittleBoard P5v provides improved price / performance in a reliable, US-made alternative for high volume applications. And the higher performance Pentium II-based LittleBoard P6d with onboard sound opens new demanding, performance-driven multimedia application opportunities for EBX form-factor single board computers. The expanded LittleBoard product line is being unveiled today at the Embedded Systems Conference Fall 2000 exhibition opening today at the San Jose Convention Center.

These three new products demonstrate Ampro's commitment to continue as the leader in the EBX market. "In the 14 years that Ampro has been supplying embedded designers with LittleBoard Single Board Computers, Ampro has continuously updated the product line with new technology, while maintaining a smooth upgrade path with respect to form, fit and function," said Paul Rosenfeld, Ampro's Vice President of Marketing.
