Desktop & Embedded Windows Lifecycle Management

Windows Embedded Silver Partner

Recently, a number of Ampro customers have inquired as to Microsoft's plans for continued support of its Windows® OSes, particularly in light of the transition currently taking place in the desktop PC market from Windows XP to Windows Vista.

In 2002 Microsoft launched a new "consistent and predictable" product lifecycle intended to standardize support guidelines across product lines. The resulting polices apply to both Windows Embedded (primarily Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE) and desktop Windows products.
